Announcing the 2024–2025 IAS Residential Faculty Fellows!
The Institute for Advanced Study is delighted to announce our Residential Faculty Fellows for 2024–2025.
Faculty fellows spend a semester in residence at the IAS. Together with our Interdisciplinary Doctoral Fellows (who spend a full academic year in residence) and other scholars in residence, they constitute a supportive interdisciplinary intellectual community in which they work intensively on their own research and creative projects and gather regularly to collaborate, discuss their work, and exchange ideas.
Synergy in Scholarship: A Blend of Science and Humanities

A Step Towards a Decolonial Future: The Promises and Challenges of Reciprocal and Reparative Actions
Reckoning with the colonial complicity and legacy of institutions requires unpacking the promises and challenges of decolonial work. This talk reflects on current efforts to develop a set of culturally-responsive and historically-minded decolonial approaches to Philippine collections at the University of Michigan.
Q&A and reception to follow.
Presented by Colonial Collections Across the University Collaborative with support from the Institute for Advanced Study Research and Creative Collaborative program.
