Lana Burling

Lana Burling (she/her) assists in creating and editing content to support the storytelling and outreach efforts of the IAS. She is a student at the U of M with a goal to graduate in 2027 with a degree in journalism or strategic communications. Before coming to the IAS, Lana was awarded Volunteer of the Year for serving as a volunteer for the John Michael Kohler Arts Center where she conducted weekly interviews with artists and composed detailed recaps of their work for the Levitt AMP Sheboygan Music Series.

Institute for Advanced Study among those highlighted after U of M earns top spot in global Interdisciplinary Science Rankings

The Institute for Advanced Study was recently highlighted by the University of Minnesota in communications announcing that the U of M was ranked the top public university worldwide and sixth overall in the Times Higher Education’s first-ever Interdisciplinary Science Rankings (ISR).
