Are you a graduate student interested in applying for an Interdisciplinary Doctoral Fellowship? Join us for an information session with several of the University’s IDF-sponsoring Centers and Institutes:

  • Center for Premodern Studies (CPS)
  • Charles Babbage Institute (CBI)
  • Institute for Advanced Study (IAS)
  • Institute for Research in Statistics and its Applications (IRSA)
  • Interdisciplinary Center for the Study of Global Change (ICGC)
  • Life Course Center (LCC)
  • Minnesota Population Center (MPC)
  • Center for Race, Indigeneity, Disability, Gender & Sexuality Studies (RIDGS)

We will discuss what makes a strong IDF application and representatives of the above centers will talk about their specific application processes and deadlines, as well as more generally about the IDF experience at their center. Q&A will follow.

You do not need to be applying through one of these centers to attend, but please note that the presentations and advice will be specific to the IDF experience at these presenting centers, and may not be applicable to the process or experience at other IDF hosting centers on campus.
