Are you a graduate student interested in applying for an Interdisciplinary Doctoral Fellowship? Join us for an information session with six of the University’s IDF-sponsoring Centers and Institutes:

  • Center for Premodern Studies
  • Institute for Advanced Study
  • Institute on the Environment
  • Interdisciplinary Center for the Study of Global Change
  • Life Course Center
  • Minnesota Population Center

Representatives of these centers will talk about their specific application processes and deadlines, as well as more generally about the IDF experience at their center. There will be a presentation on what makes a strong IDF application, followed by Q&A. You do not need to be applying through one of these centers to attend, but please note that the presentations and advice will be specific to the IDF experience at these six presenting centers, and may not be applicable to the process or experience at other IDF hosting centers on campus.

More about the Interdisciplinary Doctoral Fellowships at the IAS can be found here. (Full application instructions for 2022–2023 will be posted soon.) Please email us at [email protected] if you have any questions in the meantime.
