Lana Burling

Communications Assistant

Lana Burling (she/her) assists in creating and editing content to support the storytelling and outreach efforts of the IAS. She is a student at the U of M with a goal to graduate in 2027 with a degree in journalism or strategic communications. Before coming to the IAS, Lana was awarded Volunteer of the Year for serving as a volunteer for the John Michael Kohler Arts Center where she conducted weekly interviews with artists and composed detailed recaps of their work for the Levitt AMP Sheboygan Music Series. Lana brings to the IAS her communication, writing, and creative abilities in hopes to enhance her skills and expand her connections. Lana’s ideal job is to either be an investigative journalist or a public relations strategist. When not at the IAS, you can find her on a long, relaxing walk or in a comfy chair reading her favorite book.
