IDF Information Session

Wilson Research Collaboration Studio, Wilson Library (West Bank)
Free and open to the public

Are you a graduate student interested in applying for an Interdisciplinary Doctoral Fellowship? Join us for a brown-bag info session with five of the University’s IDF-sponsoring Centers and Institutes:
• Consortium for the Study of the Premodern World
• Institute for Advanced Study
• Minnesota Population Center
• Life Course Center
• Interdisciplinary Center for the Study of Global Change
Representatives of these centers will talk about their specific application processes and deadlines, as well as more generally about the IDF experience at their center. There will be a presentation on what makes a strong IDF application, followed by Q&A. You do not need to be applying through one of these five centers to attend, but please note that the presentations and advice will be specific to the IDF experience at these five presenting centers, and may not be applicable to the process or experience at other IDF hosting centers on campus.
Feel free to bring your lunch; beverages will be provided. Please email us if you have any questions.
