• Ongoing support for our faculty fellowships and research creative collaboratives
  The IAS is unique in its interdisciplinary support for faculty and its ability to bring scholars together. Their cutting-edge work makes the University of Minnesota strong.


• Thought-provoking and lively public programming
  The Thursdays at Four program and the University Symposium are two series which bring innovative research and creative work to the university and the general public.


• Specific Initiatives
  The IAS is sponsoring the Still Present Pasts exhibit at Intermedia Arts in the spring of 2007. This multimedia exhibit explores the legacies of the Korean War and encourages reflection about the devastation of war for all Americans.
