Fabio Parasecoli is Associate Professor and Director of Food Studies Initiatives at the New School for Public Engagement in New York City. He is the author of Bite Me! Food in Popular Culture (2008), Al Dente: A History of Food in Italy (2014), and co-editor of the six-volume Cultural History of Food (2012).

Prof. Parasecoli will be in conversation with Dan Philippon, Associate Professor of English and co-convener of the IAS Environmental Humanities Collaborative.

This event is organized by the IAS Environmental Humanities Collaborative and cosponsored by the Depts. of German, Scandinavian and Dutch and English and the Center for German and European Studies.
