Robert Wallace, Evolutionary Biologist, on Agroeconomics of Disease. July 1, 2015
Robert Wallace is an evolutionary biologist and public health phylogeographer, presently a Visiting Scholar at the Institute of Global Studies at the University of Minnesota. His blog, Farming Pathogens, follows agriculture, infections, evolution, ecological resilience, dialectical biology, and the practice of science. His current work explores the evolution and economics of avian influenza; this interview was filmed at the St. Paul State Fair grounds where the poultry shows were canceled in 2015 due to concerns over the spread of H5N2 avian influenza virus.
