Jeremy Iggers ended a 20+ year career with the Minneapolis Star Tribune to become executive director of the Twin Cities Media Alliance, the non-profit organization that operates the Twin Cities Daily Planet. During his journalism career, Iggers wrote about food, restaurants and ethics, and won two national awards for overseas reporting. Iggers has a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Minnesota (1993); his doctoral thesis on the ethics of journalism was published as Good News, Bad News: Journalism Ethics and the Public Interest (Westview Press,1998). He lives in south Minneapolis with his wife Carol and two cats.
