Karen Ho is Associate Professor of Anthropology, University of Minnesota, and author of Liquidated: An Ethnography of Wall Street. Hannah Appel is an anthropologist, currently a postdoctoral fellow with the Committee on Global Thought at Columbia University. She has been participating in the Occupy Wall Street movement since late September. Part of the University Symposium on Abundance & Scarcity.
