Susan Hensel‘s exhibition history covers more than thirty years. For twenty years during the sixties and seventies she participated in Michigan’s finest juried art fairs, while maintaining a gallery presence working primarily in functional and sculptural ceramics. Now her work focuses on handmade paper and her art, including drawing, painting, sculpture, writing, literary research, sewing, cutting, papermaking, computer work, collage, rubberstamping, and printmaking, is exhibited in competitions, galleries from coast to coast, and museum shows and collections.
