Kay Reyerson is a professor of History at the University of Minnesota and director of the Center for Medieval Studies.  Her research interests lie chiefly in the social, economic, and legal history of Western and Mediterranean Europe.  Among her recent publications are Jacques Coeur: Entrepreneur and King’s Bursar (2004) and The Art of the Deal: Intermediaries of Trade in Medieval Montpellier (2002).
